This Athens residence is a study in radical minimalism, where architecture and interior merge into a seamless whole. The palette is near-entirely achromatic — crisp white surfaces and built-ins set against cool grey concrete-finish flooring — punctuated by deliberate moments of warmth and contrast.
The double-height living space is anchored by an open-tread staircase enclosed in full-height glass balustrades, dissolving boundaries between levels while flooding the interior with light. A polished chrome dome pendant and an all-white Corian kitchen island maintain the monochromatic discipline, while a raw dark timber monastery dining table provides a striking counterpoint — grounding the space with texture and history.
Bookshelving is treated as installation art, with cantilevered white brackets floating books directly off the walls across two levels, visible through the glass void as a dynamic vertical composition.
The master suite integrates a freestanding tub within the bedroom envelope, while secondary bathrooms contrast dark slate-effect tiling with sculptural pedestal basins and polished chrome fittings.
Throughout, the design privileges volume, light, and restraint — every object earns its place.
